Health
and Safety
The children’s trapeze is set at 1.5 meters from the crash mats. There are two crash mats under the bar to maximise the safety of the toddlers.
During the class
The toddlers will first be asked to run whilst circus music is playing. They will then be jumping from a stool into crash mats. This exercise is to help build spatial awareness and strength. The toddlers will perform a few moves on the trapeze under the constant supervision of the teacher. There will be some work done on the floor including more jumps and roly-pollies.
Trapeze helps toddlers with coordination, concentration, self-confidence, and overall strength.
