FAQ

Is trapeze safe?

Yes, when it is taught correctly. Genevieve has been teaching for over 30 years and she knows how to progress students in a safe and steady manner. There are thick crash mats underneath each apparatus and she teaches students to fall safely.

You may have seen trapeze shows where the trapeze hangs very high up. In a class setting, that is not necessary, and the main static trapeze that Genevieve uses to teach classes hangs just 1.5 meter above the crash mats.

What are your class sizes?

Classes are kept small so everyone receives personal attention and hands on corrections, about 4-6 people. Workshops may have 8-10 people.

What should I wear/bring?

Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. No shoes or socks necessary, bare feet preferred. Long hair should be tied up. Bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated, and maybe a snack for after class.
